Grandmother's Grove Naming

Adopted into the Ravensong pack as Cocoa, she was soon considered the Grandmother to the young pack. The hunter's den was named out of respect for her.

Cocoa would take out two new hunters for their first few hunts to show them the right way to finish successfully. When another young wolf grew into adulthood she'd go with all three for a last few hunts to assess which of them suited the roles best to become a successful trio..

Once they were proficient as a trio they welcomed another two wolves with chaser experience to the hunting party. Their party of 5 then began bringing back the larger carcasses to feed the pack.

There are now several generations of mature wolves she trained training the younger ones.
Before her death Cocoa retired from the hunt to join Chemayne & Luna at the Den of Howling Rocks where the youngest pups are cared for. She especially enjoyed listening to them sing when the older pack members howled at the moon.

WEREWOLF LORE

The wolves that walk as humans are not new in the world as you believe.
There have been many.
Before my time here there was a wolf in the pack named Declan who was an Irish Werewolf. I will share two tales with you since naturally you are curious. The Celtic Werewolves, & the Man-Wolves of Ossory are from his tellings of the ancient Irish legends.

There's also the legend of the Georgia Werewolf, who may or may not have been of Irish heritage. You may explore that tale with others who are not busy.
