Adopted into the pack as a adolescent, he spent this earliest time in the drought, when prey was scarce and the wolves of the Western Crow's Haven Pack suffered. He has a long past.
Didn't receive as much attention as many others during the drought and considered leaving a few times, eventually changed his mind though, and decided he was better off here and wanted to become a hunter for the pack.
Despite being an adolescent and ready to practice becoming a chaser, Hyena wasn't able to begin training as none of the adult wolves had a twenty percent proficiency.
Stayed near the den as Willow and Shadow culled the pups, watched as six had been carried out.
Developed a good friendship with Pebble.
After waiting nearly two months, Hyena finally began his apprenticeship under Oak as a chaser in the Alpha hunting party.
Survived the drought.
Grew to adulthood.
Officially joined the Alpha hunting party as a chaser.
Took on Scry as an apprentice chaser.
His whole hunting party got injuries while hunting an elk, but they were all pretty minor excluding Shadow's, whose health was knocked to zero and his hind leg had a large open wound.
Became pair bonded to Scry. Where did this come form? Nowhere. They love each other now. (I just realized he trained her)
To celebrate becoming mates with Scry, the two adopted a pup to call their own; Redbud, or Red for short. The young pup became the focus of their lives quite quickly.
Scry became pregnant, Hyena already had his hands full with hunting and Red, but was excited nonetheless to meet their pups.
Scry caught a nasty cough not long after she gave birth to five pups, Thena, Carmine, Crimson, Sulley, and Bandit. Hyena worried for her health considering she had caught Pox not long before too.
Went with Scry to the enclave to sell their pups Carmine and Crimson. Hyena was sad to see his pups go, but they had their paws full with the others and he and Scry knew the pups would have a better life this way.
Scry wanted another litter now that their pups were on the verge of adulthood with Red already being there. Hyena couldn't do it though, they had to give up Carmine and Crimson because the pack was getting to big to support itself, and he didn't want to loose anymore pups.
He and Scry eventually went back to the enclave and adopted a new pup they named April. Hyena loved her, he really did, but refused to let himself get anymore attached than he already was incase the pack went back into a state where pups would need to be culled. He lived through the first culling and had even given up two of his own pups not so long ago.
