Scry

Born to Nulberry and the breeding male Oak as the second oldest of five pups, given to Xavier to pupsit alongside her older brother Mud.

Taken from pupsitter, Xavier, to be examined for potential by Willow and Shadow.

Her brothers and sister Forest, Redwood, and Florence were all taken into the woods during the pup culling and they did not come out.

Give back to Xavier for pupsitting after the culling.

Bluebell found Mud's body. He was lying next to a colorful plant that had been discovered to be highly toxic. Judging by the bite marks on the plant and the vomit near Mud, he had eaten quite a bit of the plant before succumbing to death. The loss of her last littermate broke her, it made her feel truly alone for the first time.

Scry befriended Birch, one of Zalia's pups.

Her mother Nulberry began to distance herself, Scry knew it was because she was disappointed in her deep down and longed even more for her brother Mud.

Weaned from her mother.

Scry tried but was unsuccessful in building a better bond between her and her pupsitter, Xavier, who seemed so distant even though spent a lot of time with her.

Survived the drought.

Birch left the pack and her behind, Scry felt stupid for liking him.

Pebble, Willow's pup, began spending time with her, and Scry was grateful to have another wolf who could talk with her.

Scry soon began to see Pebble almost as a motherly figure.

Pebble grew out of her adolescence and into adulthood and began to keep a closer watch on Scry.

Aged into an adolescent. Began working under Hyena as she prepared to become a chaser in the Alpha hunting party as an adult.

Overheard Xavier tell her mother that he was sorry before making his final exit from the clearing. Nulberry seemed confused, but Scry knew he meant he was sorry for letting Mud out of his sight.

Became an adult, and officially joined the alpha hunting party as a chaser.

Nulberry left the pack. She didn't say goodbye to Scry either, and she was upset about it, but at the same time, she didn't care.

Developed a crush on Hyena.

Pebble and Scry's bond got better as Scry aged.

Became mated to Hyena impulsively, but the two work well together.

Adopted Redbud with her mate Hyena, as a celebration of sorts for becoming pair bonded. The young pup quickly became the center of their lives. Scry also took the time to ask Pebble if she'd be Red's godmother, Pebble agreed.

Scry could feel her bond with Pebble tearing apart as she moved to build her own family, but Scry was too busy with her mate and son to fix it.

After a few tries, Scry was able to get pregnant by Hyena, she was excited about her litter.

Scry caught a case of Pox, Alder worked on a balm to help with it soon after diagnosing her, but Scry worried for Red, if he caught it, it very well could be fatal.

Scry had been working through her pregnancy and almost forgot to nest herself completely, she knew her pups would be due soon but wanted to remain beneficial to the pack.

Caught a nasty cough after she gave birth to her pups Thena, Carmine, Crimson, Sulley, and Bandit. Alder was able to cure it rather easily. Hyena began to worry about her health as she'd been getting sick a lot lately.

While laying in her nest with her pups, Scry became uncomfortable to realize Sulley reminded her of her mother, and Carmine had Nulberry's eyes.

She and Hyena decided they would take Carmine and Crimson up to the enclave and sell them. She knew they would have good lives with the bear, and felt a sudden relief that Nulberry's eyes no longer could watch her every move.

Her pups became adolescents, Scry was proud of them, but still had a hard time looking at Sulley.

Oak came up to her and tried to start a conversation. He was her sire, but not her father as he was never there, and that never really bothered her. What did bother her, was him trying to bond with her this far into her life when he had always kept away from her before. She knew he was getting on in age, and had no one left other than his hunting party, which she was a part of, and that made her feel a little sympathy. The conversation lasted longer than Scry originally planned to let it, and Oak wasn't as boring or detestable as she wanted him to be. Similar encounters continued to happen after, and Scry slowly became acceptant of his presence, although she still didn't enjoy him bringing up her pups.

Went into heat for the first time since her pups were born, she wanted to have another litter with Hyena, but he didn't. He had a point though, because the pack was already so big that they had to give up Carmine and Crimson.

Oak died. In his sleep peacefully, but that doesn't change the fact that he died. He never even got to get to know her pups, he wanted to, but he was too respectful to just go do it knowing that wasn't what Scry wanted- which she regretted. He had reached out in his final days because he wanted to know that he had family who would love and miss him when he was gone. Now he was.

She finally convinced her mate to go with her to adopt a pup, Hyena picked April and carried her all the way home. He seemed to love her, yet he kept a good distance from the new pup. Scry felt bad, but she made sure her pup was cared for.
