born in the far west, proí spent his childhood under the reign of the sundown kingdom. the king was a cruel one at best, and he seemed to slip deeper into madness with every passing day. proí's mother smuggled refugees from the kingdom, and when he was old enough he began to help. his brother left with the refugees and he begged proí to come with him, but he couldn't leave their mother to do this deed herself.

eventually, his mother was caught and tried for her crimes. proí returned home to find his den in ruins and drag marks across the ground. he knew fully what he expected to find as he followed them, but his mother's body in the kingdom's clearing still hurt all the same. proí knew it was only a matter of time before the king sent for him as well, so he fled the kingdom and used the same trail he and his mother used to smuggle wolves out. the guards were hot on his tail, but they could not outrun him.

proí is wanted in the sundown kingdom, and a large bounty has been placed on him. he bounced from pack to pack for months, changing his name and background for each one. he may have finally found a home in carja, as he believes polemos is a leader who could become very feared and successful.
