Angela first encountered Damsel in the dreamlands. Even in her old age, the mystical place enraptured her like nothing else, and so she had grown accustomed as to what to expect. She did not expect, however, to find a relatively normal-looking wolf among these magical lands. Besides their strangely colored coat, they looked like any other wolf she would find in the waking world.
They watched her curiously as she sniffed at them, obviously not seeing her as a threat. Their smell was tinged with the scent that haunted this place, but overall smelled as any normal wolf would. They talked then, whether it was days or minutes, time matters not in the dream world. It ended with Damsel cryptically saying they would meet again, and Angela waking up.
2 weeks later, Angela was checking on her pack when Damsel's scent caught her nose. She was surprised to say the least, she truly did not expect them to be able to transcend the worlds as well. She followed it to where Gebura, one of the more protective wolves of the pack, was growling at a seemingly unperturbed Damsel.
Knowing Gebura to be an act-first ask-questions-later kind of wolf, Angela ordered her to stand down and allowed Damsel to introduce themself. Gebura was not particularly pleased with this somewhat strange-smelling and mysterious wolf being so readily taken into the pack, but Angela was quick to silence her and welcome Damsel with open arms.
