Born as the youngest of three littermates to Willow, he has an older sister, Pebble, from a previous litter. Given to Xavier for pupsitting.
Rowan's mother, Willow, became pair bonded with Shadow, her ex mate, who fathered his older sibling Pebble. Rowan was excited to have a father figure, and already had looked up to the beta of the pack beforehand. Not much later the two returned from the enclave with his adoptive brother Alder, who was a few months older. Rowan looked forward to having an older brother as well.
His mother and father adopted another pup whom they named Carnation.
Shadow and Willow adopted another pup, this time being a brother for Rowan and named him Branch.
Xavier left the pack and his pupsitting was handed over to Zalia.
Willow and Shadow adopted another pup, Wiley. Rowan was excited to finally be a big brother as all his other siblings were older.
Became an adolescent and started training as a stalker under his father, Shadow.
Shadow recommended he start his own hunting party to lead soon as he hit a year old, Rowan was pleased with the praise but wondered who'd join if he did.
His mother and father adopted Mimus, Rowan felt he was too busy in his training to really try bonding with him though. Maybe later.
Aged into adulthood, he almost immediately went to start up his hunting party, calling it Beta. Rowan led it as a stalker. His older brothers August and Branch joined his hunting party as chasers, August also worked as a finisher.
Mother, Willow, became pregnant with her final litter. Rowan was happy for her, and open-minded about his new siblings.
His mother gave birth to a litter of three, she hadn't got to name them yet when the middle one died suddenly. Rowan felt a little sad about it, he did get to meet his surviving siblings, Spider and Brook after though.
His littlest sister, Brook, was taken to the enclave and traded by their mother. Shadow gave out the news to him and his other siblings. Rowan felt bad for Spider, the thought of losing one of his littermates, annoying as they may be at times, was awful. He made his way to his little brother and expressed his sorrows, before locating Augustine and Snapdragon.
Willow pulled him aside privately and explained to him that she was going to tell Wiley the same thing she would tell him. Apparently, the two of them were her choices as heirs, and one of them would be the next alpha of the Western Crow's Haven Pack. Rowan was surprised to hear it, and continued to listen to her. If he did want to be leader, he would have to give up his job in the pack, along with a few other conditions that wouldn't change anything. Rowan was hesitant and wanted to hear what Wiley had to say first before he said anything to their mother confirming if he wanted the job.
Spider left the pack not long after he became an adolescent, Rowan wasn't sad to see him go being honest, he hardly knew him and from what he could tell, Spider would be happier elsewhere.
Got news from his sister Pebble that she would be giving him and their other siblings some nieces and nephews.
Rowan had sat on the idea long enough, and decided he was ready to given his mother his answer, which would be yes. She seemed happy to finally get a response out of him, and Rowan was nervous about loosing his job. Willow told him he didn't have to give it up just yet, and he could wait another year, but he should begin searching out an heir for himself.
Snapdragon became distant, which was odd for her, especially after Augustine left. He worried she may leave next.
Alder and Quisca came back to camp each carrying two pups. In the story they told, she had them sooner than meant be and so she couldn't make it back to camp. Possibly may have happened, yes, but it didn't sit right to him.
