Born Spring of Year 7
Name means: Honest strength. A very literal sounding name that is actually a play on words (oubain means courageous)
Ou-Ban is a wolf with strong convictions and an intimidating presence. He holds a lot of generally decent opinions, about pack life and politics, but debating his ethics is a futile endeavor. His stubbornness doesn't cause many waves in a pack of like-minded wolves, but there are some he noticeably avoids for the sake of peace and harmony.
From the perspective of other wolves, he seems to embody the principles of the wolves that came before him, wanting a large and loving family like his mother, to be strong, fearless, and respected like his father, and to remain honest and true to himself as his grandparents did in their lifetimes. Ou-Ban often feels a great weight of expectation has been placed upon him, but is resolved to carry it proudly.
Year 10 - After completing his yearling roam at Doods Lake (the unofficial sister pack of Coal Valley), Ou-Ban comes back to find the pack has changed. In his absence, several young wolves have grown and formed a new reserve hunting party, his mother has passed, and Yai has been severely wounded. It takes him most of the spring to grieve with his sisters and come to terms with how things now are.
