newt was found as a baby after being left behind at the edge of the eld territory. her green coloration lends her to being more of a plains and swamp wolf but she’s adjusted well to mountain life.
she’s very willing to learn and started trying to follow the hunters out early on into her life. a few times she nearly succeeded before eland and kane sent her back with the rest of the pack. other times she’s attempted to go out with susannah and scout out other territories. she would like to see and even meet wolves from the swamps and grasslands.
despite her acceptance into the pack, others worry if she’ll choose to stay or not when she gets older. gabrielle and eland quietly believe that she will grow up and return to the grasslands below. kane and abel believe she will choose to stay with them.
