kane

kane is the first friend that abel eld had made during his journey to the mountains. just before he had reached them he spotted her down a long crevice. it was obvious to him that she had only recently left her pack to find something for herself. if you asked kane, she would say it seemed as if abel came from the sky. truly though she knows he came from north rather than above. 

meeting a wolf from the mountain top is strange. one wouldn’t assume there are any up there anymore. 

kane is fast and close friends with anyone who comes into the eld pack. she is a strong believer in the idea that everyone brings something into the pack. and she believes that showing them kindness and patience will help lead them to their places in the pack. it’s only after trial after trial, once she realizes that someone isn’t really trying, that she suggests they move on from the pack. 

when kane and abel first began the eld pack they sired two pups together: winter and rodrick. 

winter was sired not long after blizzards began to ravage the mountainside. she succumbed to her namesake. 

rodrick managed to get older but it became very clear early on that his nature leant him to get sick very easily. he was handed off to another pack for safe keeping.
