One of the later to join the pack, when he approached Time he did so with no name or family to speak of. Traditionally, someone who has no name, no family to vouch for them, is left to roam the grasslands alone due to the perceived dishonest nature of their existence but when he approached Time the young god could see the honesty in his eyes as he spoke and offered his loyalty. Time asked why he had approached, how he had known they were there, and Hercules stated that he had been watching him since Time had stepped paw out of the forests. Though he didn't seem to like the idea of a Mortal watching him without Time realizing it, he agreed to allow the man into his pack. When he came back with a pelt draped around his shoulders Time saw the other as useful and gave him a name. Hercules, a reference to the tales of the old demi-god, the action marked Hercules as claimed. By tradition, Hercules is now considered the mortal brother of Time, and he seems to feel nothing but gratitude for the young god.
