Kyoca

Kyoca has always been a free spirit, following whatever her heart desires even if in the long run it would not be beneficial to her. In her old pack, many called her reckless and naive but that just was not true as she had always taken precaution wherever she went. She had been born in the prairie territory so there were many places where she could go and things to see but her pack always held her down, making her feel trapped and her heart longed for the open.

One day the son of the alpha came up to her and asked her to be his mate, pack members watched them with excitement coming from their face but Kyoca knew if she accepted the marriage she would have to always stay put and take care of pups she was not ready for quite yet. So she rejected him as gently as she could, the male did not take it well as he snarled at her. She whimpered and said, "I do not mean any harm nor did I intend to hurt your feelings.." She trailed off before the male spoke, "I do not care what you intended to do, you have to accept being my mate."

Once night had come about, she sat by the only tree seen for miles. She stared at the stars before she felt something inside her telling her to leave and run far far away from where she lived. So that night she snuck into the food den and ate enough to keep her full as she did not know when her next meal was going to be. She ran far from there, she ran for three days and two nights before she collapsed in exhaustion.

When she woke up, she was in the Opossum Pack. The pack that did not make her feel trapped and she became their pupsitter as she felt the same thing inside her tell her that this would be her new home for many suns and moons to come.
