Euphrates was born in the spring of Year 0 to Whilamere, a pack full of swift hunters, prophesiers, and dream-walkers. Her father was the leader of this pack, and her mother, a spirit of The Dreamlands. Due to her supernatural heritage, Euphrates' eyes held a constant, otherworldly blue glow, and everywhere she stepped, non-destructive flames were left in her wake. As she grew in this pack, it became clear that Euphrates was an observer from the moment her eyes opened, taking in any and all information, and using it to become the best at whatever she did. Upon becoming an adolescent, Euphrates began having dreams of forming a pack of her own, and she expressed these wants to her father. From then on, he trained her in everything he knew about leadership, and taught her many values that she still holds dear today. On her 1st birthday, her father threw a celebration in honor of her departure, gifting her the Lunar Orb adornments that she never takes off. Many tears were shed, but Euphrates marched off into the unknown with her tail held high, and determined to become as good a leader as her father believed she would be.
A few weeks into her travels she came across Tarik, a male the same age as her, who rather than leaving, had been chased away from his pack. At first she was wary of this goofy flirt of a male, and several times she tried to get him to "fluff off", but he seemed determined to be her companion. Eventually, she stopped trying to chase him off, and was surprised to find out the two of them quickly formed a bond. A little while later, they went from companions, to close friends, and from close friends to mates. Together they were able to find a place to call their own, and in the late spring of Year 1, Clemensly was created.
