Fir never thought she'd ever have a puppy of her own. She was born so sick and frail, she was told by the Pack Shamans that she had an illness that could never be cured and thus she could never have puppies. This news - while devastating - pushed Fir to bury herself into becoming more of her sisters' apprentice.
Over time, Fir carved out a niche for herself as the main Forager of Dawnrise Pack. She'd scour the meadows in search of things for her sisters and nieces to use for their medicines. Eventually, Fir would start taking on apprentices herself, and a small, also-runty male named Thyme wanted to learn.
Fir and Thyme eventually grew a bond. Fir was unsure at first, but Thyme's dedication and adoration towards her melted her heart - he knew she couldn't have puppies, but still wanted to be with her.
When the time was right, the Pack's puppy enthusiast, Appala, introduced the small couple to the Bear's Enclave. It was there that the two decided to adopt a very charming puppy with a demeanor as warm as her fur.
Warmwood is a very cheerful girl who always looks on the bright side of things and just wants to make other wolves smile. She thinks the job her adoptive parents do - foraging - is very interesting and important; she hopes to become a Forager for Dawnrise, too, one day!
