Background Character
One of Tiger's less publicly talked-about roles is his role of being a "Stud". This role is appointed to certain individuals of a pack when they fulfill certain criteria and when there is a want of "puppy blessings". As a result, Tiger was given the ability to "bless" wolves that would come to him asking for puppies of their own!
This had led to a couple of strange appearances in the Pack. Such as one birth of a strange, colorful-looking puppy.
Enter Storm's Palette. A little colorful pup who was left at Dawnrise when his mother moved on - she found him too strange to look at and even started to regret going to Tiger for his blessing for such a strange-looking puppy.
Tiger felt awful and of course Dawnrise kept the little colorful wolf in the Pack. Tiger was so worried that this puppy would turn out as problematic as Strike, but...in a strange turn of events, nothing like that ever happened.
Tiger named the puppy after himself and the pup's colorful coat, reminding him of a large splash of color on the world. Much like all of Tiger's other children, Storm's Palette is often just shortened to "Palette" or - in most cases - just "Pal".
In spite of being left by his mother at Dawnrise, Pal actually has a very happy-go-lucky attitude. This is likely because he was raised alongside Sunrise and Rain's colorful kids - with all of the colorful wolves running around all of a sudden, Dawnrise couldn't help but embrace the strange, enigmatic explosions of color and soon the strange wolves weren't so strange at all anymore.
Pal doesn't really make a lot of noise and he tends to fill-in whereever he's needed in the Pack. Pal loves to try to prove himself as a useful member, and it does make him feel good to know he does his father proud.
