Fracture was abandoned by his pack, perhaps for his odd coloring, and made his way to Phantom's borders. The alpha took him in and noticed his knack for identifying plants and soothing packmates, encouraging him to take the role of herbalist apprentice. Though Fracture has an adventurous spirit, he found foraging to fulfill his desires for exploration, and often serves as a 'battle medic', bringing basic herbs along into hunting expeditions or border patrols.

An adventurous and kind spirit, Fracture has been training under Nyx for some time now to become the pack's next herbalist. His unique pelt means that he can easily be spotted out and about by those in need of his services, and his bedside manner is both reassuring and efficient. He hopes to combine his adventuring and his herbal knowledge to be the go-to medic for hunting parties and scouts in need.

Fracture, now a full-fledged young adult, is preparing to take his place in the pack as a fully trained herbalist. His current tasks include foraging, checking in on Scouts and Hunters, and tracking down Phantom whenever he can to be sure the leader isn't in need of aid. He still makes time to chat with the other young wolves, and remains close to Nyx, happy to alternate duties with her so that they can serve their ever-growing pack.

Fracture has stepped into his role as head healer with determination and empathy for his packmates. He and Nyx remain close, though she has stepped down to allow him greater independence in his work. He already has learned every remedy available to them, and makes sure to forage and brew daily so the pack's stocks are always high. With winter around the corner, his main concerns are keeping the pups healthy and finding out what is wrong with Phantom. The highlight of his day is when Dream returns from scouting and stops by to tell him of all the cool things he saw; and on most days get some wounds bandaged since Dream can be a bit...reckless on his scouting missions.

Fracture's adventurous spirit has been set aside for the moment, as the pack faces the dead of winter. With prey in short supply, the hunting parties are fanning out farther from the base camp, and the scouts are seeking the best routes to take. This means less herbs as well, as Fracture's foraging attempts are often met with failure, or minimal plants gathered. His attempts to follow Dream and have the male help him with herbs, or help the scout with his missions, have been met with the usually cheerful scout warning him off. Fracture has taken to sticking fairly close to the den site, especially with new puppies being born in the snowy hours.

Fracture continues to blossom in his role as herbalist [pun intended], especially as spring dawns and the plants he seeks are once more bountiful. Still sullen about the way Dream treated him, there appears to be a briskness between the two that did not exist before...an iciness that even the coming warmth can't seem to melt. Nevertheless, Fracture is capable and kind to the rest of the pack, and still tends to any wounds the panda-pelted Scout receives with the same devotion as anyone else's.
