Phantom is an observant, detail-oriented individual who is more seen than heard...and rarely seen. He has a rather hands-off method of running his pack, and usually keeps to himself on various patrols while other groups hunt. Nevertheless, he is loyal to a fault and will step in as needed. He just doesn't always....socialize well. He's a lil awkward. Loves pups and is a great tutor/mentor.

He's currently trying to lead a band of raucous wolves that keeps growing right under his nose. He definitely fits more of the 'guide' than 'leader' role personality wise. He's capable of putting his paws down as needed to direct his pack, and he will always defend the weak. He knows what it's like to feel like you don't belong anywhere, and he wants this pack to be a place where folks who feel outcast can find sanctuary and understanding, whether it is for a short time or for long-term.

Phantom has been more stressed lately with the additions to the pack, and has been re-thinking his concepts around leadership. He rarely takes breaks from the constant patrolling, and has often found himself ill because of it. Nyx is constantly giving him a hard time for showing up at her herbal stores so much, but she does worry about him. He's wearing himself ragged, and Fate and the other original pack are very concerned about everything weighing on his shoulders. But no one seems to be able to get through to him and help him relax. The only times he seems more at ease are when he is giving the pups lessons, or relaxing with his own offspring. Sometimes Maple or Cypress can coax him to let them groom him, but then he is off again to hunt down more resources and make more treaties.

Phantom has not been well. His sleep has grown more and more fitful, and with the Lunar Dreams enveloping him, so that even in sleep he finds himself fighting, hunting, and struggling to understand...the young leader scarcely has the energy to tend to himself. His pelt has grown thin, and despite having plenty of food for the ever-growing pack, he never seems to have much of an appetite. He can often be found staring off into nothingness, and his wandering takes him away more and more from the misfits he has taken in.

With the Lunar Dreams opening another realm, Phantom struggles to keep his reality in check. The day-to-day seems foggy, whereas his dreams grow in strength. Lines blur, and his distance from his pack is only in his waking moments, for in the dreamworld he passes amongst their spirits with care. Easing pups from nightmares and watching tendrils of connection spark between packmates. Self-imposed hermitage seems to stem from his dissociation and vivid visions, rather than a lack of care for the misfits he helped gather.

With the coming of spring, Phantom has made a return to the pack. Though thin and fragile from spending so much time alone, he is clearly welcomed by the older wolves who have grown up knowing him. The younger ones, who have aged in his absence, seem less respectful, looking more to Fate as their leader. This fact doesn't seem to bother Phantom in the slightest, and he seems content to watch over the pups and newcomers, offer his insight about what he has seen and experienced, and spend time with the wolves he started the pack with.
