Everest is a strikingly handsome, confident adult male in the pack. He has proven himself a valuable member of the group, not just because of his confidence in his own abilities, but because he inspires that confidence in others. Repeatedly. In all manners, whether on the hunt or in internal pack relationships. He's patient with the pups as a bonus!

At a little over 3.5 years old, Everest is nice middle-aged wolf amidst his peers. He has enough life experience to be confident in his choices and actions, and this confidence rubs off on those around him. He works mostly as a Chaser on hunts, following after Cypress and helping keep Abyss in line, but he can also be found amongst the Pupsitters, giving them a few moments reprieve by letting the pups climb all over him. It is no secret that he would one day love pups of his own.

Everest continues to serve as one of the Chasers on Cypress' hunting party, and charms both her and Maple frequently. He keeps Abyss in line, and the two have gone from a tense partnership to being closer to friends. Everest sees a lot of himself in the younger male, and strives to get Abyss to focus on working as a part of the group, rather than a solo performer. He continues to frequent the puppy areas, where he is often mobbed by the small ones, and sprawls out to give the pupsitters a much-needed respite. He and Mirage spend a lot of time talking these days, and it's clear to outsiders that the two are falling deeply in love.

Everest continues to be one of the wolves that Abyss respects and comes to for help, as well as one of the best chasers in the pack. His confidence rubs off on the pups and adolescents that he trains, which keeps him close to Mirage. He finally worked up the courage recently to tell her how he feels, and she eagerly returned his feelings. The two can now often be seen play-wrestling or co-mentoring pups like the sweethearts they are.

Everest, officially mated to the keeper of his heart, Mirage, has been kept busy as a Chaser. In winter, prey is harder to come by, and he frequently goes out on multiple hunts, teaching adolescents that come and go, and filling in for mentors for younger pups. But at the end of it all he gets to return to Mirage and her pups, whom he has adopted readily. Speaking of adopting...on one of his hunts he came across a young pup with mismatched eyes, and couldn't possibly leave the little fella on his own. When he brought the pup home, Mirage wasted no time in declaring the pup was their new son, and Everest fell in love with her all over again.

With Mirage's adolescents under his care as well as several orphans being fostered and adopted by the couple, Everest has his paws full both in the camp and out. He has been working hard to help Abyss adjust to the changes in their hunting party, and believes he is making a break through, though the coming of spring and temptation of new opportunities has several pack members around him shifting their decisions. Despite all of this, Everest remains steadfast and loyal, confident that the pack will survive any departures to come.
