Starting with the times he was taken in the pack as a pup, he always made the lead wolf's advisor–Morning Star–very uneasy. No wonder, he looks almost completely identical to Morning Star. He could swear on his life, he knew a lot more than a puppy should. It drove him insane, the thoughts of Justice Light overthrowing him haunted him at night like a prophecy and a memory at the same time. "He wasn't born as the pack memeber nor was weak enough to survive on his own, all the roles are taken, there is no need to keep him," Morning Star reasoned. But his mates were adamant. Morning Star was convinced Justice Light hypnotized them into submission. One day he made a choice. He lead him deep into the woods pretending it was for his training and left him there to die. When he told his mates the pup "got lost" nobody believed him. An expedition lead by the advisor was formed, if they failed to find Justice Light, Morning Star would be chased away. Thankfully, everything went well, both Morning Star and Justice Light stayed. Later, Wishing Well took over his upbringing and training out of fear for the adult wolf. Everyone thought he would become herbalist, but, surprisingly, he was assigned as a scout. With Morning Star they became a pair of the best scouts in the forrest but, despite everything, the tension remained. Justice Light knows what he did and why, response is just a matter of time. Justice Light has all time of the universe.
