Brothers. Sisters. Lovers. Fighters. That was how Heron saw the world. At least when he wasn't saying sorry. He was inbred. His blood-brother, Hawk, was his only living littermate. The others died because of birth complications. His mother refused to be nested, it's a shame really. He really love his brother. His brother was the one who worked his tail off every single day and night. He never stoped. NEVER. His brother would die for him. If fact, he would die for his brother to. His brother followed him everywhere even though Hawk was older than heron was. The only mental difference between them was that if Heron died, Hawk would die too. If Hawk died though, Heron would be sad for a while but continue on. Nobody knows this of course. Except for himself that is.

There was one time. A pack in need sent out a message to nearby packs that they were dying. They were out of food. No wolf would stay in there packs. They were scavengers. Filthy scavengers. He had too deliver two rat carcasses… alone. He and his brother were unemployed. They had no role. When wolf in their pack had no role they were called alphas helpers. Alpha helpers would take supplies over to the other packs, keep other wolves company, and, unfortunately, they were often bullied by other important pack members. They didn't mind it to much usually. No body in there pack would do that currently. Every wolf is so nice but anyway, as Heron left with the rats, his brother was having a emotional meltdown because he was alone and scared. They were two lovely hunters, Wildebeest and Coyote, who managed to get him under control. They were awesome. Wildebeest never really opened up about his life before coming to the pack but he was kind. He said something about his daughters before but he couldn't remember that to clearly. Heron often worries about the pack once Wildebeest passes away because he is the only (and the best) stalker. Coyote has tried many times with his mate Snake to produce good strong pups. It never works out. They are an amazing happy couple. They ended up adopting a lot of puppies and still try to get blood children. He had one daughter, Camel, but she left. Anyway, Heron walked away from his brother that day. He felt awful but also, free. Was that wrong?
