Wolves of the Dark Desert
Welcome to the Danger pack! Our pack system is like no others. We have 3 different classes and a lead family! We also live in tunnels under ground. This is a tour of our pretty land.
The Weasel den (Nursery) : Our first class is the nursery. The wolves in the nursery are the breeding male(who also is the pupsitter), females nursing pups, and the pups them selves. The pups leave the nursery once they are adolescents. This den got it's name from our first breeding male, Weasel.
The Snake den (Workers): The second class is the Workers. The workers are hunters, scouts, and herbalists. The pregnant wolves will stay in this cave until they are a rollover (day) away from giving birth. Not all wolves here have a role. This den was named after a reliable scout of ours, Snake.
Misfits: The misfits are the lowest class. If a wolf pup is born with a mutation they are sent here. The only way to get out of this fate is to be born in to royalty. They will not breed in there life (LIES).
(JKing though. I love the mutations. They are basically treated like royals.) (They still have their own den though.)
The Giant Anteater den (The ill ones): Sick wolves, royalty included, go to this cave along with herbalist pretty much until they get better. The herbalist app gets to stay here too. This was named after our keen herbalist Giant Anteater.
The Lynx den (Royalty or lead family): Now for the most important part of the pack. The alpha only has 1 litter intil all of the pups die. It is very important for it to stay this so they doesn't have to many heirs. The oldest pup alive is always the next leader. When a new alpha is chosen the litter mates are chased out and there pups sold (Only the blood siblings are chased, adopted ones can stay). A question you might have is what does the heir do while they wait to be alpha? The answer is simply scouts. Since our back usually only has one scout at a time, the heir usually helps the scout out. Because of this being a scout is considered an honor. This den was named after our first heir, Lynx.
How are the different roles treated? That's probably a question that has been wandering around the back of your mind since you read about what the heirs do while they wait to be Alpha
Scouts: Like I said in our pack being a scout is a role of honor. This is mainly because of three things. You read about one of them earlier, so I think I'll focus on the other two. The first reason is most wolves don't really get a travel out of our Packs land, but the scout does. The second reason is that the Intel about where everything is very helpful.
Herbalist: To our pack a herbalist isn't something special. Healing is important but not enough so that they get to train heirs, a lot of times a herbalist is too into herbs to Connect with their pack. That doesn't necessarily boost them in popularity.
Pupsitter: There are two ways to become a pupsitter. The first is considered an honor, the second one not so much. The first way is if your the breeding male. This way is considered an honor because to be a breeding male you have to be handsome. The second way is if your to useless to be helpful for
We also have secession rules, or guide lines:
1. When the alpha dies if they have a mate still alive, the mate gets the throne
2. If the alphas mate is dead when the alpha passes their eldest child will gain the throne.
3. If the alpha doesn't have any pups or a living mate then the scout takes the throne. (I told you scouts are important.)
4. The Alpha can kill their heirs at sight if they deem them unattractive.
Please note:
In our pack royals can't be a stud

Arctic Woolly Bear Moth the Exact
Arctic Woolly Bear Moth was an extremely precise leader. She was the first alpha of danger pack. She never opened up about her past though for the simple reason she is unsure. She believes herself that she is in fact not a wolf but a dhole. A dhole is a wild dog from a place over water and mountains (asia). As just a pup she was taking from her home and shipped across the world with her siblings. She woke up one day on a grassland on the side of a road. She is unsure how she got to that spot but she did. She had to accept the ways of the wild dogs of this land, they called themselves wolves, she made a pack and now lives in the desert with her pack. She seemed to have a curse that all of her pups would die. No body could fix it. She had to adopt a heir because of the curse and she ended up with Lynx.
