Esaias is the closest to Ashur, serving as an advisor when the older wolf is troubled and the de-facto second in command.
Year 1: After having helped find a suitable cave system to serve as their new den, Esaias easily settled into the role of a Scout and makes his rounds every day, spending long hours searching for any sign of where his previous pack might have fled in the aftermath of the terrible wildfire which separated them. Though he's traveled far and wide, he hasn't picked up a single trace of them but he still remains hopeful that they're alive and safe (a sentiment Ashur wishes he could share.)
Year 2: A well-seasoned Scout by now Esaias has largely given up his initial mission to find their old pack, focusing instead on finding things to help his current pack grow. He's gotten rather close to Sarai, the daughter of Noya who Ashur adopted, and has taken her under his wing as another Scout. He remains as hopfeful as every and keeps his eyes set on the future.
