Biography
Maybe herbalist?
Lore time baby:
Narwhal the II was named after his father, narwhal. He wasn't special so it all ways confused him how a wolf like him, not special at all, lost his eye to that rattlesnake. It happened when he was 8 months old. He was playing with his sister, Ostrich, when she let out a ear splitting yelp as a snake slither right up to them she ran over to their alpha, still screaming at the top of her lungs. The alpha, Woolly, turned her head to the snake and Narwhal. She'd started running but was to late… the rattlesnake struck destroying it's target, Narwhal's eye.
One week later…
After Narwhal the II had recovered from his first injury, the missing eye, this idiot thought he could survive anything, even cougars, boy was he wrong. His Mother, our famed herbalist, Giant Anteater went out to collect herbs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that except when your child follows you out of the camp. He was watching his mother closely, not even realizing the fact on how easy it is to sneak up on a wolf from behind. He followed her until she reached her favorite herb gather location, a tiny oasis over grown with helpful plants. He was amazed by how pretty it was he didn't even notice the cougar sneaking up behind him. It jump but only managed to scratch both his ear. It was very painful but he was lucky his mother was on the scene or else he would've lost his life so young. Many wolves believe that Anteater knew he was there the entire time but jumped in when her pup got hurt but anywho that humbled him for the rest of puphood.
Time for another story! It's hard to believe that Narwhal the II caused all the problems he did. He's a nice sociable guy. But somehow he convinced his sister to go on a stroll in the desert on a foggy morning the day they turned 1 year old. So they we out and about, padding along rows of cacti and brush. Now, their was a vulture circling above and it was a very foggy morning, thus very hard to see. The young wolves were completely oblivious to the vulture who saw tiny adult wolves as a treat. It swooped down. Both of the wolves saw it at the same time and started running. Narwhal was slightly more athletic and smart so he knew his sister would be in danger. He'd stop running and tried to fight off the huge bird. It was a hard fight for a wolf who was only an adult for several hours. He won, he brought back some eggs at least, but he got a permanent scar on his foot.
Wolves. One of the most intelligent animals. Well, some of them at least. This time his injury wasn't his fault! He got a good role a while back, a hunter. He finally got to get out of the camp. It was a thrill! He loved it! Of course, all special roles come with challenges. It's part of pack life. The challenge that day was his sister, Ostrich. She was expecting pups with her mate, Dust. That was the only thing he would think about. Even when participating in hunting. As soon as a the scent of a Coyote pack hit their nostrils and the other wolves when on alert, Narwhal didn't. The next thing he knew was a ambush by coyotes. He screamed and then passed out. When he awoke he was in the den that his mother stored her herbs in. His face had an awful wound. It was starting to scar over but you could the it bleed a lot. It stretched a cross his face and looked awful. He deeply hoped it would go away but who knew? His mother said it most likely wouldn't. He was permanently wounded… again.
