Dustsight was a roaming wolf named Drake, as he roamed the lands Drake became very familiar with herbs. From a young age Drake realized he had no interest in taking a mate or having pups. He much rather be healing those he came upon. A Black wolf had approached him one day, asking him to follow them. Drake, not one for conflict carefully followed her. She brought him to a large area where a old bear and grey wolf stood.
"Ashblaze, Herbert, this is Drake a wolf with a natural talent for memorizing herbs."
"I'm not sure my pack will trust them."
"nonsense Ashblaze! The Blazing ashes will no doubt welcome a herbalist into their midst."

The bear explained what was happening, and asked what should be done. Drake knew that this was his chance to join a pack so he didn't back down from the Grey-wolf's judging gaze. After only a few moments of Herbert explaining the symptoms, Drake knew exactly what to give to the ill leader.
"There you are.... Ashblaze, Right?"
Drake was surprised to see a cheerful glint in the leader's eyes.
"You were right my friends, Drake follow me to your new pack."

Drake became Dustsight and now happily works in the med den, Herbert has been an excellent mentor. Dustsight loves teaching the puppies about herbs and has become a trusted adviser to Ashblaze.

"Sandstep was injured on patrol!"
"relax Icefern she'll be fine it's just a gash."
"Thank you Dustsight."

"insomnium what in the name of the stars are you doing?!"
Dustsight has his paws full with his apprentice, he respects her determination but questions her actions. Secretly he is glad that Oleander is there to wind her back.

"Are you certain Dustsight?"
"Yes Ashblaze I'm growing older. I can no longer keep up with the pack's needs"
"…….. very well Dustsight The blazing Ashes honors your hard work, Crowcall will help you settle into the Elders den. May the last of your years be peaceful."

Dustsight has chosen to retire and pass on his legacy to his apprentice.
