Amaroq’s parents did not love each other. That much was
known. The pack was all about colours of pelts and trading wolves to different
packs to expand their monetary horizons. That was what Amaroq’s future was,
being born from a mother who would only care for her until she was two and a
half months old, then being moved to the cave ready to be sold. Being paraded around
until she sold.
She was paraded around, however, almost immediately, a buyer
was interested. Sol and Lunaris of Halfcrest Hunters. They bought her for quite
a hefty sum, 150 SC. She was bought and brought back to the mountains where
Halfcrest Hunters live. She was given the choice of what she would work as, and
she eventually chose Pupsitting.
Over time, as she grew into a lovely young she-wolf, she
found herself being mentored by one of the hunters. Ivy, a plain looking wolf, but
extremely strong with a vulgar personality allowed her to pup sit her pups
while she was hunting. Amaroq loved hanging out with Ivy’s first litter of
pups. She enjoyed wrestling with the young pups, and when the pups decided to
leave the pack, she decided then and there that she would have her own litter
of pups one day.
She watched as Shard grew up and started becoming the pack’s
breeding male. She watched as her good friend, Gator, had his first litter of
pups. She helped raise the litter of pups while her friend hunted, teaching
them how to take care of themselves. She then, finally, was able to find a male
for her.
Colorado is the breeding male of the Pine Canyon Pack. She does
not love him, nor does he love her, but he is going to be the father of her
first litter of pups. She spoke to Sol, and she was taken to the fertility
snake, and that is when the first snag was hit. She was almost infertile. The
snake estimated that she was only 2% fertile, meaning that she would have a
hard conceiving pups. She was devasted, as her chance of having her own pups was
basically crushed.
However, luck ran through. She became pregnant, and when checked,
it was estimated she would be having five pups. She couldn’t believe it! She
was so happy, especially since her pups would be close to the same age as Ivy’s
second litter when the litter was born.
Amaroq really looks forwards to having her pups, and is
looking forwards to raising them with Lunaris and the pack. She hopes that they
may choose to stay with her, however, she knows that they will move on,
eventually.
