Gwenwynwyn ap Owain) is the banished son of one of the old Wolf kings. He was thrown out of the pack after being accused of kinslaying, normally he would have been executed but his father couldn't bear the thought of killing his own son and changed the sentence to banishment.
Despite his title and heritage being stripped from him, he still goes by Gwenwynwyn ap Owain.
