Kteatos and Eurytos

Though their birth was met with great confusion, Kteatos and Eurytos were embraced by their pack mates with open arms.

Still, even with the support of their pack, life isn’t easy when you’re attached at the hip. The pups struggled to learn to walk, to play, and to lead normal lives.

As they learned to talk, the two brothers began to display startling prophetic powers. They would warn the hunters against following a certain trail, lest injury or ill luck befall them, or advise the herbalist to have extra supplies on hand for an upcoming birth. Their warnings always rang true, and soon the wolves of Sundown Ridge came to rely on the two.

But, though their prophetic abilities only grew with time, their bodies were quickly growing weaker. Fearing for their lives, Cain and his pack made the decision to seek immortality for the twins. It was only a legend, and a costly one at that, but he had to try.
