Amaris was born under the leadership of her mother, Victoria, and her mate Taam ja'. She doesn't remember much about the older male, as he passed away when Amaris was very young, though her mother still tells stories of their adventures together. Her father, a male from a different pack, never got a chance to meet the young pup due to The Midnight Wanderers' nomadic lifestyle.
From a very young age the she-wolf was trained and tutored by her mother, spending what little free time she did have with her friend Polaris and his two sisters, Blu and Malfas.
