Lord Leikr

Lord Leikr is the son of Baroness Askja and Erlandr.

Leikr developed his jaded personality young in life - best friends with his cousin, Kassandra, he always seemed to get the short end of the stick while they were growing up. If Kassandra encountered good fortune, he would get the opposite. He therefore arms himself with fatalistic humor and sarcasm. He'll stick by his cousin till the end, though, bad luck or no.

When Lady Moira began courting him near the end of her mother's reign, he was skeptical at first that he would be lucky enough to find someone interested in him. But he found that being her friend was easy, and he loved it, and eventually he figured out that he also loved her, the the idea that she loved him back felt like the single luckiest thing to ever happen in his life.

Though he retains a pessimistic streak and snide attitude, Leikr takes pride in his role as Lord, and is content to rule Nightwood alongside Lady Moira.

THE LORD OF NIGHTWOOD

The Lord is second in command to his Lady. His responsibilities mainly center around organizing hunting parties and ensuring the pack is consistently fed. These responsibilities are either passed on to his sons or to the next Lord.

His status is indicated by a delicate silver headdress fashioned to imitate the antlers of a stag, therefore bringing luck to the hunt.
