Flare is a bossy, headstrong wolf who is in charge of coordinating and organizing hunts. He is good at his job, and often takes command during the hunts. Flare is very standoffish towards Loonplume, who is older and more experienced than him, and only takes her advice when he feels its necessary. Their rivallry is one of the most discussed things in the pack, albeit neither of them know it.
Flare has an average Moonsight ability, although he doesn't often engage with it.
