Kaolin, at a single-year-old, had learned that life was tough, and it didn't favour anybody, least of all him. In spite of that, he managed to thrive and beat the odds. Abandoned as soon as he could hunt for himself, Kaolin learned that not every wolf could be trusted and to use caution when approaching others. His judgement came from the way a wolf introduced themselves to him.
When Kaolin was born, he was a beautiful Howlite. White with silver-gray veins streaking through his fur and dappling it a silvery colour. But, as he grew, that dazzling howlite mutated into an odd blue colour. Which quickly put off his parents. They kept him hidden from the world as to not attract unwanted attention from his odd blue coat. Hunters or other predators could easily bring a lot of harm or even death to a young pup.
Now that he's a year old, he's set out on his own, much to the chagrin of his parents. He wished to explore the world at his leisure. Perhaps settle down with a mate and pups. Only time will tell.
