Furun (Foo-roo-n; Fire + Run)

A small eastern she-wolf disperser from the flatlands, Furun left her pack by choice to seek out new experiences. Naive and inexperienced as she was, it was no surprise then that the world outside her home proved to be much more dangerous than she had anticipated, and the young wolf found herself doing more hiding and starving than bright-eyed dreamy exploration.

Virruk is the first placid stranger that she encounters, and she ends up following him for safety, as the larger northerner did not seem to mind her presence. After growing to support each other through several winters, she decides to place her trust in him, vowing to stay by his side wherever the four winds may take them.
They bond and eventually conceive, and it was during the scramble to find suitable shelter for her that they come upon the belfry and decide to make it their permanent home.

Despite several seasons of hardship, she remains a jovial, nurturing she-wolf who wears her heart on her withers. Sometimes, her usually reserved mate affectionally calls her his "sunshine".
