A growing pack of experienced hunters and mountaineers that make their home around an old, abandoned belfry, which stands vigil above a timberline just a short jaunt away from perpetual mountain frost. Ancient man-made paths stretch out from the belfry's base, all worn away by the passage of hundreds and thousands of moons.
The wolves of the belfry are kind but guarded. They do not tolerate malice and welcome travelers and newcomers alike, provided they can earn their keep.

Territory Zones:
The Old Belfry - An ancient man-made belfry made of stone, its bell no longer tolls and has been frozen in place for nigh on centuries. The adolescents, elderly wolves, pups and their pupsitters are housed here where they have solid, reliable protection against the elements.
The Outskirts - The general area outside the belfry, dotted with dens, old stone paths and sparse trees. Any pack wolf is free to make a home here.
Travelers' Rise - A spacious den carved into a ruin overlooking the timberline, made for travelers and temporary visitors of the pack, it is the furthest from the belfry and offers the widest view of the pack's territory.
The Quiet Burrow - A large dugout supported by the ruins of an old human dwelling beside the belfry. Maintained by the pack's herbalist, who makes room to allow sick wolves to recuperate here until they are well enough to rejoin the others.
Naming Conventions:
I'm very particular about names relative to world-building, so I've come up with my own rules;
- names have to contain rough wolf sounds e.g; grr, roo/ru, ruf, auroo
- ideally combined with a normal name, with a meaning relative to the wolf's traits
- double letters, rolling rs encouraged
- if all else fails wing it and insert two r's somewhere
