Queen's Mercy was raised by the Mourning Star pack under her original name, Pisces. She soon became the pack's most revered scout. One day, her and her mate were set out to lead a bear away from the den. They failed, resulting in the death of her love, and the permanent injury of the pack leader, Hesper. Pisces managed to convince the furious leader not to kill her for her mistake, and so she was instead given a new name and task. The wolf would travel the world searching and studying fallen stars under the name Queen's Mercy. And would only be allowed to return home when she was too old to continue on. This name serves as a reminder of her second chance, as do the tears that are often seen streaming down her face.

Lore: Queen's Mercy was gathering some herbs when she meets the healer of the BloodNight Pack. They happily chatted and Queen told of her travels. The healer spoke of how her pack was apparently cursed, how shadow wolves attack the pack and the only way to keep them at bay was with Goldenseal. Thankfully she brought a bunch of different herbs from her travels, even goldenseal! She taught the healer and the BloodNight Pack how to grow their own goldenseal, to protect them from the shadow wolves. After some time, she left the pack, happy that she was able to help them against their curse.
