Born to her mother's second litter, Ragna was never meant to take over the pack and that suited her just fine. A cunning and quick-witted wolf, she was content to let her elder sister Roana prepare for the duties of Alpha and spent most of her days accompanying her litter mate Einar as the pups learned and grew under their parent's watchful eye. She didn't even seem to enjoy the rank of being the Alpha's pup nearly as much as her brother did. It was too much fuss and bother and she grew envious of the relative privacy that came naturally to the other pups. 

When she came of age, Ragna used her cleverness to aid in the hunt and offer counsel where needed. She came to understand her rank benefitted her packmates more so than herself and in that sacrifice, perhaps there could be found something to enjoy.
