Ronny found himself rather comfortable here in the Salmonstone pack, as when he arrived there was already a cheerful group of travellers congregating together in a decorated cave. Though he found some of their chatter and boisterous activities rather irritating, he put up with their youthful energy as much as he could. He got along in particular with a young female by the name of Mabon, who shared some of his sharper humour and tendency to eves-drop on all the ongoing conversations.
Ronny contributed to the pack's hospitality by assisting lessons with the pups, and it seemed each pup he taught was kept in line by his sharp tongue and intolerance for shenanigans.
Soon, he was leading a small marching line of pups through the grass, having them help out the elders and the Chieftain. Unlike some of the past leaders, Chieftain Moema enjoyed the lessons brought by the older male traveller, happy the pups were more well-behaved than usual.
Ronny left a fair impression on a few of these wolves, and left with an even bigger one for himself. Mabon gave him an affectionate farewell by gifting him a brightly-jewelled dragonfly to commemorate their friendship.
Ronny left bright and early that next morning, as any well-rounded wolf would do.

Lore: Ronny joined the wolves of the Winterset Pack at a strange time, their lead wolf had passed and a new one was settling into the position. While he heard from the scouts, with whom he shared a den with, that their old lead had been welcoming of travelers, Hayle still seemed suspicious of sharing his pack with strangers. Ronny could feel the young male's piercing eyes follow him around the camp as he aided with tasks and when he did try to approach the lead only he only answered in short words.
After a couple days of the tense interactions, Ronny felt it best to just avoid him as much as possible. He stuck around with the Den Keepers, wolves whose job was to take care of the pack's home and pups, and from whom he learned how the pack constructed their cave dens to brace against the harsh mountain cold, far different from the desert territory of his home pack.
Soon enough it came time for him to set off again, ready to learn whatever he could from the next pack he encounters.
