Taiji

Brief Bio

Taiji is a quiet, but friendly she wolf. She doesn't speak much and prefers to be a follower than a leader. She's seen as different due to her unique eyes, but she's never picked on since it's pack law to never treat someone as if they arent worth something.

Taiji is aligned with Cernunnos (Ker-noo-noss), the God of Nature.

Events:

Meeting Aponi and Parabola.
Outcome: They treat her as if she was their own pup, but do respect that she isn't. Taiji just finds comfort in the fact that they're aren't like the rest of the pack, just like her.

Had her first litter.
Outcome: Loses the litter to cold weather.

Passing of Sansa.
Outcome: This was the first elder to pass in the pack. So the pack mourned for three days. Azula and Windu helped pray over her spirit's travel to the dreamlands.

Is recruited by Dunny.
Outcome: Joins Hunting Party Beta as a chaser.

Impactful Event:

Taiji couldn't sleep, she just couldn't. She wasn't sure why but she got up and left her family's den. She decided to go on a walk through the woods. She enjoyed the quiet of the night and had no fear of it. She came across the opening of a cave that called to her. She entered the cave and came across the largest stag she's ever seen in her life. She was slightly frighten by the beast as she was so little, but the stag approached her and actually spoke in her native wolf tongue.

The stag with a deep voice said to her "do not be afraid young one. I will cause no harm to you". She stilled, slightly in shock.

After she got over herself the stag declared that he was Cernunnos (Ker-noo-noss) the God of Nature. The young she wolf had never heard of this god among the tales of her elders. The stag explained to her that he wishes to communicate with her and surprisingly support her pack. She was confused on why a supposed God in the form of a stag, which is the prey of wolves, would wish to help the enemy. The stag stated that he loves all creatures of the land no matter what they may consume or live their lives as.

The stag after his explanation gave instructions being, "If you are to come to me every full moon, then I shall tell you of where the the prey shall be for the next moon cycle. I wish just for companionship and nothing more"

The young she wolf was hesitant in responding with an answer and so she said "I am not so sure I can accept on the behalf of my pack.. may I have time and ask my leader?"

The she wolf was young so of course she knew she couldn't just make hasty decisions.
The stag agreed and told her to come back the next new full moon to give her answer.

Taiji went home and immediately went to the den. She thought all of it was just a dream, something her brain had come up with after instead of her adventure, she had fallen asleep.
She closed her her eyes and feel asleep, as she was hoping she already was.

The next morning.

She woke and could tell that last sundown was indeed not a dream. So she immedately got up and went to ask audience with her pack leader, Rajko. She was told that currently Rajko was unable to meet with wolves at the point due to his current sickness. She was told though that his son and the current Beta, was indeed available. She went to go find them and she did indeed. Rajko's son was resting under a tree with his mate, Dunny. She knew this was the time to use her voice as she rarely uses, so she prepared herself before walking over.

She barely keeps eye contact as she tells Zagan, "um. I need audience with you about a private matter"

Zagan is slightly confused since he's barely spoken to the pup, but non the less looks over to his mate as if silently telling her to "step away, it'll only be a moment".

"What is the matter Taiji? What is so urgent to disturb my rest before a hunt?" he said with slight irritation.

"I'm sincerely sorry.. just last night I saw something... It was a Stag in a cave. He says he goes by the name of Cernunnos. He is supposedly the God of Nature. He wishes to support the pack by informing us of where the prey shall be next. All he asks is that I visit every full moon. He requests an answer by the upcoming full moon" She says with struggle of keeping eye contact.

"Taiji.. Are you sure this wasn't a a dream?" He slowly asks with doubt.

"I swear it wasn't.. just ask Azula! Please.." irritation filled her because of the doubt due to her age.

"Fine fine I will speak with her about the matter and get back to you soon" He said with a sigh and sent the young pup on her way.

Two Days later

Zagan walks up to Taiji and her mother.

"Henna, I must speak with you daughter. It will only take a moment" He says with strict voice.

Henna looks to her daughter with a questioning look before she bows her head and walks off without question.

Taiji looks to Zagan with hopefully eyes.

"Taiji... it seems the god you speak of is one to be true. It took some work to find information of this God, but Azula got a dream from the dreamlands that shows he may be trusted" he says with a small wolf like smile.

"So may I agree to his deal?" She asks with a small voice.

"Yes, yes you may. But, please do be careful. If he ever does cause you trouble then speak to Azula immediately" He says with a stern voice.
