Relying on smell won't always help you find your way, and New Adopted Puppy listened to Chaffinch's lecture about using the position of the sun and the moon when scouting. New Adopted Puppy had some problems with drawing a line between teamwork and playtime with her littermates. Chaffinch was serious when they told them that bonding and working together were not the same thing. Kildr's brow furrowed in concentration as she worked on guessing which herbs placed before her were poisonous and which were not. Chaffinch watched with interest. On their last lesson together before Kildr's apprenticeship, Kildr felt that she was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged Chaffinch to let her. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.
