Shearwater was a loner in the Riparian Woodland, but he always craved community. He had tried to join several packs before, but to no avail. Most packs in the Riparian Woodland are male led, with the Alphas chasing any males off that try to join. They only want their bloodline among their pack, which was inconvenient for Shearwater. When I found him, he initially asked me if I wanted to be his partner. I nearly laughed, but I then realized he was serious. His pleading tone broke my heart, so I offered for him to join my pack. He was very hesitant about leaving his home, but the second he laid eyes on our cave, he lit up with joy. Shearwater is the most avid participant in pack activities, even more enthusiastic than I am. Although he may lie to please others and make them like him, Shearwater's pros far outweigh his cons. I initially made him a scout, but his fear of males led him to get in fights with Shrike. I changed him to hunter, and he quickly adapted to the role of finisher. With his incredible strength, he brings down prey to feed the rest of the pack. Although he's surrounded by females among the Birds of Prey, he's never been uncomfortable. Shearwater enjoys the company of she-wolves and has learned much of his hunting skills from them. He always puts others first and meets everyone, except males, with the same kind and gentle attitude.
