Wisteria had joined the Salmonstone pack alongside his sister. Mosikayneeuh was keen to collect the two unusual pups when she heard of their anomalies, eager to make what she could of them. Neve was ultimately her choice, but she'd dare not separate the siblings. As Mosi gave Wisteria and his sister to Abalone and Ammonite to care for, it was quickly realized that Wisteria would not be able to join any of the hunting parties nor scouting teams, for the simple fact of his weaker figure. Wisteria was put in immediate training as a pupsitter, a successor to the old wolf Sargent as a caretaker. Despite all of this, Wisteria held no animosity towards his given role, nor towards his gifted scout sister. If anything, he quite preferred his quiet and focused rank, and was secretly grateful of Mosikayneeuh's willingness to cater to his strengths, or his lack there of. Though he spent many months honing his skill as a pupsitter & teacher, Mosikayneeuh eventually offered him a role as an herbalist, confident he could direct his eye for detail to aid the pack in his own way. Wisteria promised the Chieftan he would do everything he could to take up this new position, as he gained a new sense of pride.
For the coming years, he became very close with the prideful Chieftain, and ultimately became her closest companion, as though siblings apart of different litters. He adored her so, and she loved him profusely for what he was. When the aging Chief eventually ventured beyond the living realm, he was heartbroken. He missed his dear friend as great as he'd loved her. But in honour of her, he never wavered in his duty as an herbalist, and swore to watch over her pups in the living world. He than served under Mosi's daughters reign; the young & harsh Chieftain Moema. He would do anything to protect the new leader and promised the stars he would guide her towards a more forgiving leadership, the same way he'd done so for Mosikayneeuh.
