Kingfisher

Kingfisher was born in the Riparian Woodland in Swift River Pack. It was here that he learned his main skill, which is to swim like an otter and catch fish. His dark pelt helped him blend with the shadows of the river that ran through Swift River Pack's territory, and he always hunted better than his peers. Because of this, there were rumors that he would become Alpha one day. Although Kingfisher loved his pack, he never wished to become Alpha, but his packmate, Strength of Bear Claw, didn't know that. Strength of Bear Claw wanted to be Alpha, so to prevent Kingfisher from stealing his place, he killed the Alpha and framed Kingfisher for it. Kingfisher was chased from Swift River Pack, with even his mother and father nipping at his heels. When I found him, he was lying at the border of our territory, too wounded to move. Oriole took him in to heal him, and when he was well, I made him a Pupsitter. The reason I didn't make Kingfisher a Hunter is because he decided fishing was too painful for him. As it's a special skill, it reminds him too much of Swift River Pack. Now that he's in Volantes, he's much happier without the pressures of becoming Alpha. His only focus is on raising the pups to be the best wolves they can be.
