Marius' mother, and current leader of Leonharts. Most would describe her as "intimidating", or even "unfriendly."
Unlike the previous leader of Leonharts, she has a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to the adult wolves in her pack.
However, when it comes to pups and adolescents, she is incredibly kind and understanding. While still maintaining a semblance of sternness, this switch in attitudes is a shock to those new in the pack.
She takes great interest in collecting and sharing knowledge, especially about the dream world that creeps in when the moon goes into a special phase.
Angela was likely not the first wolf to invent a written language, but if there were others who had done this before her, she had never heard of them. She became frustrated with how time warped knowledge shared by mouth, and decided there needed to be a new way to record things. It took months of tireless work for her to successfully bring this idea to reality.
Once you understand this language, though, writing something down yourself became rather easy. That is, as long as you have trees around you. The only external material it took was a decently sized piece of tree bark. Besides that, you just needed claws sharp enough to carve into it.
She was greatly pleased with the fruits of her effort, and the ease of gathering the materials. Through this means, she starting writing down any strange happenings that caught her interest, and her theories on what's behind them, among other things.
Most wolves in the pack don't understand the need for such a thing, but she hopes that in due time they'll understand it's value.
