Astra came to the pack in Year 2 Autumn, her speckled otherworldly fur astonishing those who saw it. She speaks in a tongue none of the Sisters understand, but her good intentions and apt skills proved enough for the power players of the pack to accept her.
She is gradually learning to communicate with the other native wolves - after much investigation by Willow and Tassel, it was discovered that she comes from a dark, cold land far to the north. Scouts have been sent to confirm this truth. In the mean time, she has joined the male-inclusive Stonefangs hunting party under the permission of its leader, Mist. This has proven to be a good method to learn the native tongue.
