Name: セイロン Seiron or Ceylon, a black tea named for where it is grown, in Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
Traveler log: Today, 桜月 Satsuki convinced some ospreys to chase セイロン Seiron out in the open plains. "The real, physical threat of talons would motivate him to do his best." She had said before nodding at the large birds to begin. He knew that it was just training and other pups went through the same ordeal, but he couldn't keep his pelt from feeling hot with anger. He would show them, if they wanted him to run he would run, he would run far far away. Both my brother and sister have left to travel…maybe I should do the same

Lore: セイロン Seiron's first destination was to the northern regions, where he encountered an elderly wolf gathering herbs, who told him her name was Skadi. She offered him shelter with her pack, the clan of Sungold, since the first snows were already beginning to fall. "You have the look of a wolf either running to or from something," she said, "but even a born runner needs to stop once in a while."
The rest of the pack welcomed him in, and he spent the winter with them, taking up the hunt with a few of their members when he grew restless. When he wasn't hunting, Skadi shared what she knew about herbs with him, and while they both learned that herbalism wasn't a skill he was interested in pursuing, he appreciated her patient teaching and relaxed manner. Sometimes, they didn't talk about herbs at all, instead swapping stories about life in their own home packs or about things they'd seen while wandering.
In the end, セイロン Seiron stayed with them for almost a year before moving on. The pack gave him gifts to ease the next stage of his journey, including some bone scraps from the first large prey he'd helped bring down. Skadi was gone by then, but her successor Aeris gave him a salve that the old wolf had made for him before she passed. "A little something," she quoted for him, "just in case you meet something that can outrun the runner."
