Biography
He is the son of Elm and Cress, and the brother of Alon and Oren.
On his first day of training, Fiore's playtime with Alon was interrupted by Rubia, their pupsitter. She was to be their teacher for the day. They walked around the different dens and she pointed out each wolf as they passed, recounting their names, roles, and positions in the hierarchy. Seeing a bone lie unattended, Fiore pounced on it. Rubia scolded him, explaining that one of their pack's rules was to never steal from others. Disgruntled, he placed the bone back where he found it.
Ecstatic to tell Cress about his day of training, Fiore pounces on the leader who shakes him off with a small smile. Fiore plunges into his story of how he learned to howl. At first, it didn't go so well. Alon had been rolling on the ground, laughing at his failed attempts. But he finally managed a good, proper howl.
Due to the mysterious weather patterns that had been happening as of late, Cress decided that all pups should know how to find and recognize healing herbs in case of emergency. Fire had laid out different herbs for them to smell with their eyes closed. She scolded Fiore when he attempted to peek. "Your nose is your strongest sense when it comes to identifying herbs!" she said.
Seeing as how their mother was a hunter, it was only natural that Elm would be teaching Fiore and Alon the basics of hunting. She sat calmly as she watched their progress in hunting small creatures. Fiore's attempts to capture a lizard turned more into play than actual hunting, but he showed great promise.
During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Fiore sat with his brother and a few of the younger adults as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Turmeric it was hilariously different than when it started.
During the lesson: Today would be a very important lesson, tracking prey. An essential skill for any future hunter, especially a stalker. Elm had hidden something for Fiore and Alon to find. Fiore followed his brother's lead as they bounded through the underbrush. Soon, however, it started to rain, and they lost the trail. Remembering what their mother had said about retracing their steps, Fiore tried to help but Alon snapped and bit his paw. Elm rushed in to break them apart. Fiore was sent to see Fire to get his wound treated. When he returned to the den, Alon was waiting for him and apologized.
During the lesson: Today was it, the final test before Fiore would move up to the real apprenticeship with a hunting party. Elm told him and Alon that she had hidden a rabbit carcass somewhere close to the dens. It would be up to them to track it down and 'kill' it, using everything they had been taught. The two worked together and quickly found it hanging from a tree. In the end, it was Alon who dealt the final blow. Fiore was worried that this meant he would not pass. But Elm reassured him that hunting is about teamwork, and he had performed brilliantly.

Now an adolescent, Fiore got to follow along on one of the Eaststar hunting party's hunts. He studied Daffodil closely as the older wolf lead the team through the forest. Catching the scent he quietly asked if they were hunting deer. Daffodil gave him a small nod and soon they caught sight of a small herd. Fiore was given the signal to stay out of sight as the rest of the group set after one of the does. The hunt ended in success and Fiore was happy to bring an ear back to the den as a small souvenir.
An elk bull, Fiore had actually helped track down an elk bull! He had never seen one alive before, it was much larger than he had imagined. How were they supposed to take down something like that? Once again he was asked to stay behind once the actual chase began and he watched in awe as Charcoal pounced and brought the bull down.
Another successful hunt. Fiore was riding a high. This time they had taken down an elk cow. But he was also worried. Alon had spent less and less time with him over the past month. None of his hunts had been successful and Fiore worried he was somehow blaming him. However, it turned out he didn't need to worry. A short while later Alon returned to the den, proudly showing off the antlers of a Blacktail that he had been allowed to keep. Fiore happily listened as his brother boasted about his accomplishment. Perhaps now things between them would return to normal.
In Fiore's eyes, this was the most successful hunt he'd ever been on. They had caught a Moose Bull. But that was not all. Daffodil took him aside right after to have a talk. He told him that the reason they were going after such large prey was to give him as much experience as possible. At this point, all members of the Eaststar party were over six years old and would have to retire within the next year. As the future tracker of the team, it would be up to Fiore to rebuild the group with new members. The new wolf, Wisteria, had already been chosen to replace Hazel, but Jenna, Soot and Charcoal would need replacements soon as well.
Daffodil asked Fiore to take the lead on this hunt. He was shocked and a bit nervous, but Daffodil reassured him that he would do great. The hunt took a bit longer than usual this time around, as Fiore impulsively jumped from one scent trail to the next. Daffodil huffed at him to stay focused and pick one prey to follow. In the end they caught a doe. Back at the den, Alon bragged about the stoat he had caught all by himself. Fiore told him that his hunt had been a bit more difficult this time around, though he chose to leave out the fact that he had been allowed to lead it.
