Dakota was adopted by Vixen as a "suitable replacement" for the pups she lost/killed from her first litter. He will never be able to lead the pack, but still functions as a legitimate child of the throne. Dakota is a very energetic wolf, and his work ethic and enthusiasm to get things done is admirable. However he doesn't show much emotion and tends to be a blank slate, slightly mysterious to others and rumored to be simply a walking trophy for Vixen.
