Chanterelle never imagined his life including a pack; he was fully content to be a lone wolf, making friends and moving on as he saw fit. He scouted much of the territory around the deciduous forest, making maps and logging the cartography of the area. When he met Pigeon and Agate, however, he knew it was over, at least for the time being. The three became fast friends.
He spends his days scouting, doing what he loves, but each night he gets to come home to their circle of friends and family. While uncertain about friendship, and awkward in displays of affection, he goes to bed content in the knowledge that he has such a place to call home, with other wolves he cares for so much.
