Coati left her original pack under uncomfortable circumstances; her mother had died, and her father exiled. With nowhere else to go, she fled into the forest. She roamed for some time before meeting Pigeon one day in the woods. Pigeon was curious and friendly, and offered Agate a place to stay. She explained that she had great need for a wise and kind wolf, someone to look after the puppies that were shortly due. Lost for so long, Coati had not considered the life of a pupsitter until the need arose, but she fell into the position with grace.
Every morning she wakes and picks the puppies up from their mothers. They spend the day playing together, learning, and hunting. Coati is well loved among the pack, and has a special place in the hearts of most of her pack members. She is gentle and quietly funny, and radiates an aura of quiet contentment.
