Thanatos never felt welcome anywhere he went he wasn't entirely sure why, was is because of his fur or the way that death seemed to follow him. It wasn't until he ran into the wolves of Winter's Eternity did he feel like he was home. Unfortunately some of the wolves were distrustful of him this was made worse when Muerte and Hella approached him and said that he was Thanatos god of death.

That revelation scared Thanatos what would his role be did he have to kill. Muerte said that he only had to judge the wolf's soul and guide it to their afterlife. Relieved but shaken Thanatos asked to be a hunter so that he could get used to dead souls.

During all this Thanatos was also trying to court a wolf called Anala her soul called out to him, she was kind, spirited and protected her loved ones. Anala was distrusting of Thanatos at first but through many moons their love developed and though Thanatos and Anala would never have any pups of their own they adopted two pups called Leopardflame and Clearsight. Their family was complete and when Thanatos finally passes onto the ancestorial plane he will take his place on the soul council he dreads the day that he may have to judge his family's souls.
