Lore: When Littlefoot crossed the river separating his homeland from the great unknown beyond it, he was greeted almost immediately by a scarlet-furred wolf lounging by the river's edge. The strange wolf's eyes were what struck Littlefoot first, as if they'd been replaced by two shining-white pearls- he'd seen something like it before, he recalled, in the eyes of a packmate back home. The blind wolf did not seem to be rattled at all by Littlefoot's presence in his pack's territory, though it was only the edge- by the river there, the wolf introduced himself as one Dmitri from the Pack of the White Horse. Though Littlefoot could not reply, Dmitri invited him to come into the pack's territory and meet the rest of the Pack of the White Horse.
Upon Littlefoot's arrival, the pack's leader, Timbrel and Lyre, was beyond delighted to be the host of a traveling wolf for the first time. The pack's leader- clearly young, just as his pack was- could barely restrain the wag of his tail as Littlefoot was accepted into the Pack of the White Horse for as long as he wished to stay. As Littlefoot settled into his new role as Scout for the Pack of the White Horse, he found himself making several new friends and exploring distant places he would never have dreamed of, from icy tundras to swampy mires. Littlefoot knew he could not stay with the Pack of the White Horse forever, though, as he was a traveler at heart and this was merely his first stop- after several moons in the company of the Pack of the White Horse, he set out into the wild again to find his next home.
