Wryn

Dec. 2nd, 2023
Wryn wandered the forest in search of finding a place to call home. As a an adolescent, her parents died and she was separated from her brother, Winchester. Wryn had been wandering for 6 months and just on her 1st birthday, when she was officially an adult, she stumbled upon Tala. Tala is a beautiful black wolf that introduced Wryn to many forest friends and helped her establish her pack. Wryn met Harold this day and they decided to work together. Their vision was to establish Wolven Angels to serve as a resting place for wolves with no place to call home. They wander in, stay as long as they need, form friendships, and then establish their own lives. Wryn and Harold first started this with Kachow, a female wolf with a lightening stripe down her back. Kachow helped them with their pups the first month of their life and was a great friend to Wryn. Kachow eventually went her own way to find a new pack and start her own family. Since then Wryn and Harold have been establishing themselves in the forest, making friends, helping those who need it, and raising their two sons, Gunner and Sunshine. Although Wryn and Harold are not lovers, they are wonderful friends with a mutual mission, and decided to raise pups together in their new home.

Dec. 3rd, 2023
Wryn and Harold met Eureka, a beautiful orange wolf with so much compassion and optimism. Wryn plans to mate her and Eureka's pups to start the line of pack leaders after Wryn.

Dec. 4th, 2023
Wryn continues to wander through the forest looking for wolves that need help. She hopes soon to be able to find more through word of mouth in the forest as she gets more acquainted with the forest animals. She is making an impression, though. She has helped many wolves, completed quests for the snake, helped get the raccoon supplies, donated her resources, and plans to help in other ways she can.

Dec. 5th, 2023
Wryn wanders through the forest, searching for new pack mates to join their hunting party. She is helping many wolves, but that means many mouths to feed. While looking for friends she came across an angry bobcat, who she was easily able to overpower. She saw another group of wolves, but did not approach them as they did not look friendly. As the sun rises, she takes a moment to breathe in the cool fall air and enjoy this forest she now calls home. Finally, she comes across a friend. A beautiful brown wolf with a stoic personality, but Wryn is happy to welcome this wolf into her home. She is a bit weary of her, but hopeful that she will end up being a good addition to Wolven Angels. She finds another friend as well while escorting the new wolf. This wolf wants to join the Wolven Angels as well, so she brings them both back.

Dec. 9th, 2023
Wryn is very happy with how her pack is developing. Lots of wolves who needed somewhere to go, like Mystical, have found family here at Wolven Angels. And many wolves from other packs have joined to put their talents to good use helping others, like Chocolate who is now leading the new hunting party. Wryn takes a deep breath of the crisp fall air, feeling satisfied in her mission. She decides to take a stroll through the new forest they have added to the Wolven Angels territory. Wryn just needs a few more supplies so she can set up another cave for her growing pack. As she walks through the forest, she stumbles upon a fall over tree. The branches are too rotted to use as supplies, but she flips it over to find a lot of bugs, which she happily munches on for a midday snack. Moving along, she was able to find a weasel who will make a delicious meal for one of the puppies. She quickly pounces on it before it can notice her coming, and she carries the weasel along with her on her journey. She comes across a black bear who is not friendly at all, and he wants her weasel. She tried to outrun him, but a fight is inevitably. She takes damage when he slashes her with his large claws, but she is able to doge most of the blows. She latched onto the wolf, biting with all her might, and she hoped she could take down this massive predator. He easily shakes her off and she knew that this was not a battle she could win. He is dazed for a moment after her attack, and she takes this as an opportunity to grab her weasel and run back to the pack. She needs to see the herbalist for some healing and she has no desire to see if there are more bears around in the forest. She assesses her injuries, which are not as bad as she feared, and she trotted back to the Wolven Angels den.

Dec. 20th, 2023
It has been a few months and the pack is coming together nicely. Donations have helped improve the pack and their best hunting party, Ambush Predators, is made up of amazing volunteers and refugees. Wolven Angels is slowly making a new for themselves and it is turning out to help many wolves. Wryn takes a deep breath and enjoys the smell of the campfire, watching the cackling flames. She reminisces on the fun night they had, so many of the puppies from Wolven Angels was first established are becoming adolescents and training to be the next generation of the pack. They had a celebration for all of their upcoming puppies and howled and danced around the fire all night. All around is piles of cuddling wolves, some yipping in their sleep or twitching their legs. They all look so peaceful and suddenly Wryn is incredibly proud of what she and her fellow packmates have accomplished and how many wolves they have helped. Wryn lays down next to the fire feeling its warmth and for a while she watched the flames flicker in the night sky. She slowly drifted off to sleep, thinking of the wonderful night she had. When she awakes, the world looks...different. She takes a few steps away from the campfire and realizes everything is now covered in a light layer of blue dust. She shakes some off and looks around at her sleeping packmates to make sure they are okay. They all seem fine, but are fast asleep. She decides to wander around this altered world and see what she can find out. As she walks along the familiar wooden trails, she notices differences. The plants seem to glow with blue light and blue dust still falls from the sky. She finally comes across another creature, but quickly realizes it is not an animal from her realm. This creature looks like a blue cat, but has long majestic wings. Wryn cocks her head as she looks at the strange creature. At first, the catbird looks concerned that it was prey, but then realizes Wryn is just curious. Seeing that she is not from this world, the catbird puffs out his chest and spreads his blue wings so that Wryn can take in his awe. Wryn looks at him and is baffled, where is she? She has never seen anything like this before. As she wanders around the new world, she comes across more strange creatures and plants. She even found so much blue dust that she could run and roll around in it like it was snow. As she turns to head back to her pack, she hears wimpering. There is a small purple puppy hiding in the bushes! Wryn wandered over to the bushes and examined the puppy for injuries. The puppy informed Wryn that her name was Solange and that she had a companion, Algae, but that he did not make it. They had gotten lost while training and could not find their way home. Wryn helped Solange as much as she could, but Solange didn't know enough about directions to help Wryn locate the small purple puppy's home. Wryn decided it would be best to bring Solange back with her to her pack. She can take care of her and hopefully come back to this magical realm to find the puppy's home and get answers to this mysterious place. Solange ask that they bring her companion along and give him a proper burial. Wryn agreed and they headed back to the Wolven Angels. Wryn was still very confused by everything she had witnessed, but was more focused on helping Solange recover health and make it to adulthood.
